Description

The table is generated in analogy with KanjiRadical, and for the same reasons: computers are too slow to handle the full Urf8Table; so, it is divided to parts, and the GanaTable is important part of the Unicode table, at least, for the Japanese characters.

Together with the KanjiRadical and KanjiLiberal, the table of GanaTable form the base of the written Japanese language. Hiragana and Katakana together form the Furigana, so, the GanaTable includes the Furigana characters.

Some Furigana characters appear in the Unicode table more than once. These characters require the special attention, as they can be interpreted as "identical" by some software and different by other software; this may lead to confusions.
