Milli is prefix used to indicate factor \(10^{-3}\) in cases when the Latex typesetting is not supported.
Use of such this term may cause confusion, because many names begin with Milli.. or Mili, and do not refer to 1/1000 part of something more general or more usual. Examples:
Millikan, Miliband.
