Abstract. The filename for this article is created as abbreviation of words "Historic Emulations". Also, there is analogy with Hemulen described in stories about Moomintroll by Tove Jansson.[1] Hemulens seem to be essence or scientists, and they look as nodniks [2] for the most of readers. For many Russian, the researchers, who dig the history of the USSR, are also nudniks.

Абстракт. Имя директории, куда загружается эта статья, выбрано как сокращение слов "Historic Emulations". Ещё есть аналогия с Хемулем, описанным в сказке про Муми-тролля [3]. Читатели воспринимают Хемуля как зануду. Примерно так же многие выходцы из СССР воспринимают исследователей, которые пытаются рыться в том окаменевшем, которое в 20 веке по-большому наделали большевики [4].

Other characters frequently find the Hemulens annoying or overwhelming, as they can be somewhat loud, bossy, abrasive and insensitive, but they are well-intentioned and usually have other redeeming qualities. In the beginning of Finn Family Moomintroll, a hemulen who is a keen stamp collector is depressed, as he has every stamp on the face of earth and has lost his purpose in life. Later on, he finds a new purpose: to collect plants. In Finn Family Moomintroll, "un-Hemulenish" (ohemul) contains a sense of "unwarranted, unjustified".
2. https://www.thejc.com/judaism/jewish-words/nudnik-1.7671 .. According to my investigations, nudnik comes from the Russian nudnyi, which means to bore. In Yiddish the verb is nuden. However, the Hebrew nad refers to movement, and its derivative, nidnud, means a repetitive swinging motion, which describes the behaviour of the nudnik pretty well.
