Nishi is set of the following Unicode characters:

X2EC4 [1][2]

X2F91 [3]

X897E [4]

X897F 西 [5]

The last one seems to be most popular; most of descriptions refer to X897F 西.

In Japanese, characters of Nishi can be pronounced "nishi" and may denote West. However, these characters may have also other pronunciations and meanings.

At default fonts of some computers, some of charcters of Nishi look similar and may cause confusions.

At the vulgar approach, term Nishi can be interpreted as Romanji trasliteration of Japanese word(s).
