Asahi, or The Asahi Shimbun (朝日新聞) is the Japanese newspaper that appears in Japanese and in English, covering all the area of the Japanese life and some of the world's news [1][2][3].

For year 2011, in Japan there exist 3 major newspapers (and sites) that have the English versions: The Asahi Shimbun [2], the Mainichi Dayly News [4], and the Dayly Yomiuri [5].

In order to extend their publicity, the agents of Asahi distribute the table towels with symbolics of their newspaper.
