Shokupan.jpg
as soft rectangular bread [1][2]

is Unicode character number 26020 id est, X65A4, KanjiLiberal, CJK
Picture: 斤 ; uses 3 bytes. These bytes are:
xE6 x96 xA4 in the hexadecimal representation and
230 150 164 in the decimal representation. [3]

Character X65A4 [3] is easy to confuse with
character X2F44 [4]; they have similar glyphs. Due to this confusion, none of these two characters is allowed in technical language Tarja.

In Japanese, by itself may refer to rectangular bread and/or to unit of mass (or order of 0.5 kg) [5][6][7][8] and can be pronounced as キン, きん, "kin"

Kanji may have also other meanings and other pronunciations dependently on the context.

Graphics

Glyph looks as overlap of big flyph of capital Greek letter \(\Gamma\) and small glyph of ascii character T.

Glyph appears as part of more complicated glyph that may mean "quality" and or "question".

Confuse

Character X65A4 [3] is easy to confuse with
character X2F44 [4]
as they have very similar glyphs.

Characters with glyph are not allowed in technical language Tarja as this glyph has not yet assigned a unique Unicode character.

Even a native Japanese speaker, looking at characters [3] and [4] is unlikely to guess:
Which of them is character X2F44?
Which of them is character X65A4?

For this confusion, characters and are not allowed in techical language Tarja. At the translation from Japanese to Tarja, can be represented with its Hiragana transliteration according to the context or with an ascii transliteration or replaced to a word with similar meaning borrowed from another language (preferably from English).

Example

can be used as a counter for pieces of bread [9]:

このパンは一当たり二百です。

Kono Pan Wa Ichi Kin Atari Ni Hyaku En Desu .

This loaf of bread costs 200 yen per loaf.
