Punitive psychiatry Карательная психиатрия is practice to use psychiatry as pretext for political repressions, in order to isolate and/or eliminate opponents and critics.

The Punitive Psychiatry seems to be especially popular in the USSR.

Universality

The Punitive Psychiatry can be applied to any citizen with healthy mentality. The following mechanism is used.

1. Thesis of Sovietism are postulated.

2. Only mental illness may prevent the citizen to accept the postulates of Sovietism.

3. If one expresses doubts In Sovietism, this Is evidence of his or her illness.

Sovietism has many internal contradictions, and shows contradiction with observation. So, any healthy person can be punished with the Punitive psychiatry.

Personals

Gods of bolshevism, Lenin and Stalin are believed to be inventors and top organizers of the Punitive psychiatry in the USSR. The traditions is continued by other Soviet genseks – Khruschev, Brezhnev, Andropov.

Similar phenomena are observed also in the post-soviet Russia.
