Magnitsky bill – series of Laws in the USA with respect to Russian corruptioners who are believed to kill Sergei Magnitsky.

The primary version of the list of the corruptioners is known as Magnitsky list

The Magnitsky bill is expected to reduce the import of corruption from Russia to the USA. This is supposed to improve the criminal situation in the USA. Many authors expect that such a bill may also slow down the growth of corruption in Russia.

In 2012, the Magnitsky Bill become Law. The Russian Duma decided, that if Russian crimes cannot visit the USA, then, the Russian orphans should be denied the same, and voted for the Bill against orphans, which is declared to be "symmetric reply" to the Magnitsky Bill.
