Wilhelm Ackermann (1896-1942), German mathematician, approx 1935 by Steinfurt and Meerassel [1]

Original filename:

This image appears as Fig.19.1 at page 254 of book «Superfunctions»[2], 2020 - in the chapter about the ackermanns, id est, functions \(A\), that satisfy the chain of the Transfer equations \[ A_n(z\!+\!1) = A_{n-1}(︀A_n(z))︀ , ~ n \in \mathbb N, n > 1 \] (Certain additional requirements are necessity to provide the uniqueness of the solution.)

Picture of the famous mathematician is absent in the First edition of the Russian version «Суперфункции»[3], 2014.
Editor hopes this fault will be corrected in the further editions - however if, after the expected Collapse of RF (see «Duration»), the Russian language still be in use [4].
